Dixie Jackson Mission Offering

The Dixie Jackson Arkansas Missions Offering each September helps Arkansas Baptists be on mission every day: planting churches, disaster relief, training the next generation of ministers (E4Call), connecting with international students (BCM), supporting Christian Men's & Women's Job Corps, pregnancy resource centers, and so much more.

Dixie Jackson is more than just a special offering. Because you faithfully give, opportunities for serving and going increase each year!

So, we’ll continue to challenge Arkansas Baptists to increase their giving. Let’s partner together to impact our communities, our state, the nation and even the world with the gospel.

Dixie Jackson, the missionary, devoted her life to fulfilling God’s mission and involving others in the mission all year long. We trust that the resources on this page will help you to do just that.

Annie Armstrong Mission Offering

The Annie Armstrong Easter Offering is collected in honor of Annie Walker Armstrong (1850-1938). Annie Armstrong led women to unite in missions endeavors that ultimately led to the formation of Woman’s Missionary Union. Annie believed in and followed Christ with all her heart, but it was her hands that expressed that belief in tangible ways. She spent a great amount of time typing and handwriting letters in support of missions, filled with conviction that more could and should be done in our missions efforts.

Annie also never hesitated to use her hands to reach out to hug a child or distribute food, clothing and the Word of God to those in need. And, most important, Annie was a woman of prayer, folding her hands in prayer to intercede for the missionaries and for those they were helping discover Christ. Annie rallied churches to give more, pray more and do more for reaching people for Christ. The offering that bears her name goes completely to support missionaries in North America, not one dime for organizational overhead.

Lottie Moon Mission Offering

Every penny of the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, named for Southern Baptists’ most famous missionary goes directly to aid international missionaries. It enables them to go into areas untouched by the gospel, engage people groups with no believers or Scriptures, start churches, and make disciples. “Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.” 1 Chron 16:24 NASB

These missionaries supported by Southern Baptists through the CP and these special offerings are able to communicate the gospel, leading hundreds of thousands to faith each year. They are baptizing new believers who form new churches. Missionaries raise up new leaders and support on-going Bible study groups to reach even more lost people for the Lord. Your donations enable missionaries to be sent to unreached peoples and places for the glory of God. “But just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men but God, who examines our hearts.” 1 Thes 2:4 NASB

HeartCry Mission

“The HeartCry Missionary Society exists to glorify God through the establishment of biblical
churches by equipping and mobilizing indigenous churches and missionaries in the least
evangelized areas of the world.”
